✅ Who Can Apply?

The awards are open to a broad range of teachers working in CBSE-affiliated institutions, provided they meet the eligibility criteria:

Minimum Experience:
- Teachers must have at least 10 years of continuous teaching service.
- Principals must have 15 years total experience (10 years teaching + 5 years administrative).
Eligible Schools:
Teachers from government, aided, private independent CBSE schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV), Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNV), Sainik Schools, AEES, and similar institutions may apply.
Retired Teachers:
Teachers who retired in the current academic year (after completing at least 4 months of service in 2025) are eligible.
Ineligible Categories:
Contractual teachers, coaching faculty, and education officers/administrators are not eligible.

To complete your nomination, the following documents are required:

Class 10, 12, and higher education certificates
Teacher training/professional qualification proof
Appointment letter and current service proof
School recommendation (for institutional nominations)
A detailed portfolio outlining your achievements, innovations, and teaching philosophy
Proof of extracurricular contributions or community work (if applicable)

🧩 Selection Process

Initial Screening: District and regional committees review applications.
State/Organization Level Review: Shortlisted entries go to a higher-level committee for further evaluation.
National Jury: Finalists appear before a central panel, which may include virtual presentations or interviews.
Announcement: Six CBSE-affiliated teachers will be recommended for national-level awards.
Recognition: Final awardees will be honoured by the President of India on Teacher’s Day.
